Raymore, Missouri (June 5th, 2007)— Over the last 3 days The Lano Company of Raymore, Missouri had the honor of being chosen to participate in GBK Productions Gift Suite  that took place at the Sofitel Hotel in honor of the MTV Movie Awards. The purpose of the suite was to gift celebrities’ unique items for their accomplishments throughout the year.

Some of the celebrities that walked through included: Kevin Bacon, Shannon Elizabeth, Jorge Garcia & Harold Perrineau from Lost, Missy Peregrym from Heroes, Kevin Sorbo, Ricki Lake, April Scott from Deal or No Deal and the upcoming Dukes of Hazard and many others. Many of them were very excited to receive their choice of Lano Company’s three flavored lips balms, a unique massage oil candle of their choice and one of the eight multi-colored, all Swarovski crystal business card cases and others gifts that had a total value of over $40,000.

The Lano Company was pleased to participate in this event not only to introduce their products to the celebrities and the press, but also because GBK gave 20% of its revenues to the 4 non-profits involved: Project Angel Food, Kevin Bacon’s 6 Degrees, Creative Coalition, and Clothes off our Back. Gavin Keilly president of GBK Productions said, “It was our pleasure to give over $200,000 in products, services, and cash to the various causes involved in our event... “We produce these to events to create a win-win-win for the vendors, Celebrities, and Non-Profits.” 

Ms. Coggins started The Lano Company in 2005. Missy Peregrym from Heroes choose the pink and white Swarovski business card case stating, “This is beautiful and will be great to take out as an ID Case.”
